Reciprocity

Professionals that hold eligible certifications or licenses can transfer their credentials between states that are IC&RC Member Boards, a process referred to as reciprocity.

Not all certifications and licenses are eligible for reciprocity.

It is vitally important that certified professionals investigate reciprocity prior to relocating to another jurisdiction, because it can be a very complicated process.

You can determine if your credential or license is eligible for reciprocity by reviewing the IC&RC Member Board profile for your jurisdiction.

International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC)

IBADCC is a member of the IC&RC. The IC&RC established standards & facilitates reciprocity for the credentialing and licensing of addition-related professionals through its affiliate boards.

To purchase an international certificate, professionals must first hold a valid/current reciprocal-level credential/license through IC&RC affiliated boards.
